Handölsforsen, one of the biggest waterfalls in Sweden, takes its water from the Helags glacier and other melting mountain things along the way. It average water flow is about 40 m3/s and it falls for 125 meters in three falls where the tallest is almost 40 meters. It has two small hydro electric plants both taking in 3.6 m3/s and producing 750 kWh. The plants don't have any major impact on the area.
